Mythology

I have been working in the intersection of mythology and contemporary culture, concentrating on stories pertaining to women to examine the way societies use myths and archetypal images to justify cultural norms of the day.  It is this exploration of the female mythological narratives that enables me to examine contemporary issues while employing such metaphors to discuss social (in)justice.
